| Description: | A slender, spreading, sparingly strigulose annual, up to 20 cm tall. Stipules subulate, ±2 mm long; rhachis prolonged ±2-4 mm beyond the lateral leaflets, up to 5 cm long in all, including the 1-2 cm long petiole; leaflets 1-3-jugate, linear, up to 3.5 cm long, less than 2 mm wide. Racemes many-flowered, sessile, shorter than the subtending leaf. Stamens ±3.5 mm long, less than twice as long as the deeply divided calyx. Corolla caducous. Pod ±25 mm long, 1.6-1.8 mm wide, gently upcurved towards the acute tip, ±15-seeded. Seeds rectangular, ±2 x 1.5 mm, with a ridge down each side, mottled.
