| Description: | Suffrutex, gnarled dwarf shrub or shrub 0.55-1.00 m high, much-branched, often dome- shaped and wider than high. Branches densely grey- or snow-white with indumentum of microscopic retrorse or woolly hairs, occasionally shaggy. Leaves subsessile, glabrous or minutely hairy, narrowly ovate, elliptic or lanceolate, up to 30 mm long, apex acute or acuminate, often with an apiculus, base rounded or cuneate, entire, bright green and contrasting markedly with white stems. Flowers subsessile and solitary, sometimes regularly produced in upper axils and resembling leafy spikes. Bracteoles and calyx hairy or glabrous, ±7 mm long. Corolla 13-14 mm long, mostly blue or blue-and-white, rarely white. Capsule 9-10 mm long. Seeds 3.0 x 2.5 mm, beige or grey, mottled.
